The Case for Kindness

Teach Kindness lessons support the Illinois State Board of Education’s Social and Emotional Learning Standards. They equip educators to deliberately teach skills that might otherwise only be addressed off the cuff through teachable moments or might not be taught at all.

Research has shown that intentionally and systematically teaching kindness enhances students’ sense of safety, support, and acceptance.
