In November, Arizona voters will head to the ballot box to elect a new governor and 90 members of the state legislature. In July, we’ll head to the polls for the primary election.
Arizona needs to elect candidates who are early childhood champions. We have over 12,500 kids on the childcare waitlist. Funding for Arizona’s early childhood education agency continues to decline. The cost of raising kids continues to skyrocket.
In close races like those that will occur this July and November, supporters of early childhood programs, like us, are crucial to determining who will win and lose.
We’re calling on Arizonans to vote for the candidates who are early childhood champions. Early childhood champions support subsidies for affordable childcare to help parents work, creating a more sustainable source of funding for early childhood programs, and establishing a child tax credit to help families afford to start and grow their families.
Take our pledge today to be an early childhood voter!
