Arizona LEgislative District 4
Candidates Representing our shared values
KeLli Butler
Kelli Butler is a small-business owner running on common-sense solutions to improve our local economy. That means investing in the safety and economic future of our community by investing in our public schools and ensuring Arizonans have access to the affordable healthcare we need for our families to thrive.
Karen Gresham
As a mom and current School Board President in the Madison Elementary School District, Karen Gresham understands the issues that our teachers, students, and families are dealing with. Our children are the future of our communities, which is why she will fight to invest in our underfunded public schools. She is running for the State House of Representatives to implement sensible solutions to critical issues in our state and uplift the voices of neighborhood parents at the statehouse.
Christine Marsh
Christine Marsh spent 32 years as a classroom teacher and saw first-hand the issues public schools face due to a lack of investment. As our current State Senator, she has fought for our students and schools. She’s running for reelection to continue investing in the future of our local economy by ensuring our schools have the resources they need to prepare our children for future success. This means hiring and retaining qualified teachers, smaller classroom sizes, and prioritizing neighborhood schools.

About our Process
We wanted make sure the school board candidates we endorsed shared our values as Arizona parents, grandparents, teachers, and community members. This means ensuring the candidates we support are willing to put the hard work to make our dreams for our kids a reality. And above all, we wanted to make sure anyone we supported would be committed to listening to parents and community members.
Our candidate endorsement process started with sending a survey to each of the school board candidates. We wanted to hear from the candidates in their own words about their plans for the children of Arizona. The survey was composed of questions from parents and community members. Then, the parents and community members on our endorsement committee came together to review those survey responses and choose the candidates we felt best represented the needs and values of Arizona schools and students.
