Your Standoscope: Special ELection Day Edition
Happy Scorpio Season! ♏︎♥
Election Day comes in the midst of intense and moody Scorpio season known for shining a light on things previously hidden. Scorpio season encourages us to take a step back and reflect on ourselves, our communities, and what we really want and need.
Election Day (November 3, 2026) will also be marked by some major astrological transitions as the Sun settles into Scorpio, the Moon enters detail-oriented Virgo and our planets of communication and connection (Mercury and Venus) continue into retrograde, where they appear to reverse in the sky.
Collectively, these changes are a great reminder to reflect on ourselves and our roles in our communities; reconsider how we manage collective resources; increase focus on transparency in communications from those in power; and prepare for a big focus on public opinion and collective power ahead of upcoming astrological transits.
After you make your plan to vote, find out below what this means for you and how you can harness this energy in support of students and public schools.
Aries ♈︎
Tuesday brings into focus a need to introspect on your relationships and connections to others, with a reminder to discard old power dynamics that do not work for you and communicate your needs and wants clearly.
After you use your voice by voting in your local elections, amplify your voice by encouraging 3 friends to also vote. You can help those around you make a voting plan using our voter page!
Taurus ♉︎
The 3rd brings Taurus a strong reminder that slow and steady wins the race. Rather than trying to juggle 25 tasks at once, focus your energy into one priority. Caution and care in your work and communications help you prepare for potentially unexpected surprises.
Organized communities are prepared communities! Continue the work beyond that ballot by connecting with your friends and neighbors to continue pushing for students and teachers to have the support and resources they need to thrive. Find our affiliate teams and how you can connect with on the ground organizing near you!
Gemini ♊︎
Geminis may experience a strong urge to make big changes in their lives and a lot of pent up energy. Communication may not be your strong suit this week (I know, shocking for this mercurial sign), so be sure to cross your T’s and dot your I’s before sending any important messages (and make sure you fill the right circle when voting for education champions)!
Before you grab the scissors to cut DIY bangs, try channeling that creative energy into making a difference in your local community. Volunteering at polls, putting up flyers in your community, or helping your neighbors and loved ones make a voter plan can be a great way burn off some of that anxious energy.
Cancer ♋︎
Cancers can expect to be the calm collected friend during a more chaotic time for other signs. This is a great time to take the much needed calm period as a chance to make big plans, connect with potential supporters and work partners, and knock out some to-do tasks (like dropping off your mail in ballot!)

Aquarius ♒︎
The combo of the Moon in analytical Virgo and the Sun’s current position relative to Aquarius is pushing typically rebellious Aquarius towards working incredibly hard to prove themselves capable. While buckling down and knocking off your to-do list is important, remember that external approval can only take you so far. It is feeling comfortable with and proud of your own actions that truly matters!
