Round 2 Primary Endorsements
As Washington voters begin receiving their ballots, Stand for Children Washington is announcing our next round endorsements for the 2026 Primary Election. These endorsements recognize incumbent lawmakers who have demonstrated a commitment to helping young people succeed through strong public schools, supportive communities, and policies that expand opportunity for children and families across our state.
How We Evaluated Candidates
We believe endorsements should be earned through a transparent and thoughtful process. To be considered for endorsement, candidates were asked to complete a detailed questionnaire covering issues important to Washington students and families. Stand for Children Washington’s Executive Director and Government Affairs Director reviewed their responses as well as their record in office and spoke to each candidate directly. This process helped ensure our recommendations were rooted in meaningful conversations and careful evaluation.
