2024 Legislative Advocacy

2024 Legislative advocacy

It’s officially legislative session in WA! Legislators are gathering in Olympia to discuss bills and allocate money for the supplemental budget and at Stand for Children, we’re rallying our community to fight for programs that help students, youth and their families. Quite a bit is at stake this session and there are many ways for you to be involved through March 7th.

To Achieve Our Mission, Stand’s Legislative Advocacy Seeks to:

  • Promote policies that advance racial equity and positively impact students and families who are Black, Indigenous and people of color
  • Promote proven solutions that are already working in schools and communities
