Nick was born and raised in Seattle, where he was given a good education in a well-funded school system, but at the time he did not appreciate this gift at all. Since moving to Portland four years ago he has changed quite a bit. He is now an amateur writer and art lover, and audits classes at PSU whenever he can. He has learned to revere the act of learning itself, and, with Stand, he hopes to facilitate the education of less fortunate children who appreciate it a little more than he did when he was their age. He does this by making technology easier to use for Stand’s staff. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, but he’d much rather talk about the last good book you read.
