Diamond Fears

National Development Operations Coordinator

Diamond comes from a family of educators and is passionate about educational equity and lifetime learning. She watched her mother move through becoming a fifth grade teacher, principal, and now learning disabilities resource instructor. With a childhood spent learning what it meant to make a difference in her community, Diamond knew that she wanted to continue that legacy when she became an adult.

During her career, Diamond has worked in administrative capacities for learners pre-k to the university level. She enjoys paving a way for learners to have what they need before even setting foot in the classroom. Before coming to Stand, she honed her development skills at the Matteson School District near her hometown in Illinois, Turning Point School in California, and University of Southern California School of Cinema.

When not at work, Diamond enjoys learning new languages (currently studying Japanese and Greek), traveling, and spending quality time with family. She is also a writer at heart and can often be found with a good book in her spare time.
