English Family Engagement, Organizing & Elections

Chris Nguyen
Chris is a native Texan, raised by Vietnamese immigrants, and a product of Dallas public
schools. Her advocacy work started as a community college student at El Centro College,
organizing efforts against unfair practices affecting underrepresented students. As a result, the
administration created a new staff position, Student Leadership Coordinator, which enabled
Chris to design and oversee a first of its kind civic engagement leadership institute, empowering
students to participate in the political process.
In 2015, Chris entered electoral politics as the Project Director for the Dallas Democratic Party,
where she designed trainings on precinct-level targeting and voter protection. With focus on
data, research, and strategy, Chris has taken on various roles with different campaigns and
orgs, including Run for Something, Texas Blue Action, Wildfire Contact, Hillary for America,
Jasmine Crockett for Texas State House and progressive campaigns across federal, judicial,
and municipal levels.
As the National Campaigns Manager, Chris plans to take an innovative approach towards data
and research for voter outreach, driven by a strong commitment to addressing social injustices
and combating voter suppression in BIPOC communities.
