Joe grew up on the south side of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. He later earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and his master’s degree in political psychology from Arizona State University. In 2020, Joe started his career in electoral politics by working as a Field Organizer for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. Since then, he has worked in multiple areas in Wisconsin politics including managing local and congressional campaigns, working in the Wisconsin State Legislature, and serving as Appointments Director for Gov. Tony Evers. In August of 2025, Joe left state politics to join Stand for Children as their National Operations Coordinator. Outside of his work with Stand for Children, Joe happily works with local high schools as a percussion and marching band instructor.
