Haley is the Marketing and Communications Manager at Stand for Children Oregon. The daughter of two educators, Haley began her career in public schools as a paraeducator before earning her Master of Arts in Teaching from Pacific University. She went on to teach fourth grade, where she witnessed firsthand the systemic barriers that kept many students from becoming confident, fluent readers. That experience led her to serve on her district’s literacy adoption committee, solidifying her commitment to ensuring all children have access to effective reading instruction.
Motivated to make change at the state level, Haley transitioned into policy work as a Legislative Aide in the Oregon House of Representatives. During the 2025 session, she supported Chief Sponsor Representative Kropf on HB 3040, building on the state’s Early Literacy Success Initiative.

At Stand, Haley brings her combined background in education, policy, and communications to elevate the organization’s work and advance opportunities for children across Oregon.

In her free time, Haley is a dedicated Portland Thorns fan, karaoke enthusiast, and traveler!
