As districts spend dollars focused directly on early literacy, we’re focused on ensuring the effective implementation of Oregon’s Early Literacy Success Initiative.

We’ve selected 23 early literacy demonstration schools from around the state. These elementary schools were selected because they are leading the way when it comes to reading, and we want to showcase what they are doing and help them learn together to maximize this new funding from the Early Literacy Success Initiative.

Staying connected as this legislation reaches classrooms will foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, ultimately enhancing the quality of literacy instruction across the state.
