In an arena dominated by political parties, we strive to remain non-partisan and student-focused. We fearlessly and unapologetically challenge the status quo in pursuit of solutions that will help every student succeed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To receive an endorsement from our PAC, candidates must demonstrate that they are clearly aligned with and supportive of our priorities, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-list\"><li>increasing the number of BIPOC students and students furthest from educational justice who receive a relevant and meaningful high school diploma;<\/li><li>reducing the harmful impacts of juvenile legal system involvement&nbsp;on young people\u2019s opportunities; and<\/li><li>creating safe and equitable learning environments that&nbsp;cultivate belonging and affirm students\u2019 intersecting identities.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Initial 2022 Endorsements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">As the 2022 General Election approaches on November 8, 2022, the Stand for Children Washington PAC is proud to announce our initial* round of sole endorsements for ten champions of young people in Washington state, including: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table aligncenter is-style-stripes\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Name<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Party<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>District<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Position<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Rep. (*Keep an eye out for further endorsements from Stand throughout the month of September.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Check Your Voter Registration Status<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Washington voters have until October 31st to register or update their mailing address online or via mail, and voters may update their registration or register for the first time in-person until election day, November 8th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-50 has-custom-font-size is-style-shadow has-medium-font-size\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-yellow-background-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/voter.votewa.gov\/WhereToVote.aspx\"><strong>CHECK YOUR VOTER STATUS<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s easy and secure to register&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/voter.votewa.gov\/WhereToVote.aspx\">online<\/a>, by mail with a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sos.wa.gov\/elections\/print-voter-registration-forms.aspx\">paper form<\/a>, or at a county&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sos.wa.gov\/elections\/viewauditors.aspx\">elections office<\/a>. You can your registration at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/voter.votewa.gov\/WhereToVote.aspx\">VoteWA.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Effective January 1st, 2022<\/strong>, if you were convicted of a felony in Washington State, another state, or in federal court, your&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sos.wa.gov\/elections\/voters\/felons-and-voting-rights.aspx\">right to vote<\/a>&nbsp;will be
