That&#8217;s why we are hosting free virtual workshops led by some of our fantastic staff to keep the momentum going during this time of social distancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;If you&#8217;re ready to take action from home,&nbsp;<strong>Join us<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>this Thursday at 2pm&nbsp;<\/strong>for outreach coordinator Rob Brown&#8217;s&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tJwqfuCrqzktHd3QMF5eUFbNHUsYnyo526Gg?fbclid=IwAR30dF2LWMGfoBDzOC_ZamYOyhwzVfKptsGeuYm9s2wyICegzTAsfFv0XHQ\">Breaking the School to Prison Pipeline Workshop<\/a>&#8220;<\/strong>&nbsp;via Zoom! This workshop will provide attendees with a deeper understanding of what the school to prison pipeline is, who is most affected, and strategies our community can use to dismantle it. To attend,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tJwqfuCrqzktHd3QMF5eUFbNHUsYnyo526Gg?fbclid=IwAR30dF2LWMGfoBDzOC_ZamYOyhwzVfKptsGeuYm9s2wyICegzTAsfFv0XHQ\"><strong>please use this link to register<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;and receive login credentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Memphis Director Cardell Orrin will also give his&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tJYpdeioqTMqH9AAvEaVsMkvf-1Hu4nqmkj6\">Memphis &amp; Shelby County Government Workshop<\/a>&#8220;<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Thursday, April 30th, at 1pm<\/strong>. Attendees will learn the landscape of our local government and the responsibilities of those in elected offices, as well as best practices on how you can get involved with local government to advocate for educational change. To attend,&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tJYpdeioqTMqH9AAvEaVsMkvf-1Hu4nqmkj6\">please use this&nbsp;link&nbsp;to registe<\/a>r&nbsp;<\/strong>and receive login credentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you can&#8217;t make either of the workshops, you can still take action by completing our&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/scsfacilitiessurvey\"><strong>school facilities survey<\/strong><\/a>.
