CLASS OF 2027: BEAT THE ODDS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This fall, Stand for Children will award $20,000 college scholarships to eight outstanding students who \u201cBeat the Odds.\u201d The scholarship is $5,000 per year, renewable for up to four years provided the recipient maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA, completes 12 or more credits each term, and funding is available. Beat the Odds is a partnership between Stand for Children (a nonprofit organization) and the Renaissance Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stand for Children is a non-profit education advocacy organization dedicated to ensuring every student in Oregon, regardless of background or circumstance, graduates high school on time, prepared for college, a career, or both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year, we unite business and civic leaders, legislators, educators, parents, and local community members to celebrate inspiring high school seniors who overcome tremendous obstacles as they earn their diplomas, and award them with $20,000 scholarships to help make their dreams of a college degree reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
