Growing up in rural Central Oregon, Meghan attended Oregon public schools, where a deep
appreciation for education took root early on. This passion was nurtured by a family of dedicated
educators who instilled the value of public education and its transformative power.

Wanting to traveland explore beyond Oregon, Meghan pursued higher education at Tufts University & School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, where she earned a degree in Fine Arts.
In a departure from her background in the arts, Meghan channeled her professional energies into education, serving as a college admissions counselor and working extensively in academic mentoring and tutoring. Meghan believes passionate advocacy for education is crucial for enhancing our collective futures and is committed to advancing Stand’s mission.

Outside of work, Meghan enjoys creative pursuits such as bookbinding and loves exploring the Pacific
Northwest with her husband and dog.
