We are thrilled to share the great news that HB22-1376 Supportive Learning Environments For K-12 Students<\/a> was signed into law by Governor Polis!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our executive director, Krista Spurgin called the passage of this legislation<\/a>, “a game-changing first step in making sure we know what experiences our students are having in school, including restraints, including discipline.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our team is deeply appreciative the parents, educators, and community members from across Colorado that joined us to send more than 500 emails to policymakers about how these important changes will give us a transparent view of how we need to support our schools, our teachers, and our students differently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
