One of the ways we uphold this work is through our annual Advocacy Fellowship.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stand for Children Colorado Advocacy Fellows are&nbsp;community leaders advocating for policy solutions towards racial justice and equity in education.\u202f With the support of Stand staff, advocacy fellows will deep dive into issues affecting&nbsp;Colorado&nbsp;communities today,&nbsp;co-create solutions,&nbsp;democratize knowledge back to their communities, work to break down barriers to power and&nbsp;access&nbsp;decision makers, and,&nbsp;in the process,&nbsp;build long-lasting relationships and invaluable skills.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>We are excited to introduce the 2023\u20132024 Fellows!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-meet-lorelei\">Meet Lorelei<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong> What are you most excited about in this year\u2019s fellowship?<\/strong> I am most excited to continue working with Stand members to get a better understanding of Colorado Law processes and procedures, as well as learning more about communication efforts regarding outreach and support for legislation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>&nbsp; What is your favorite children\u2019s book?<\/strong> My favorite children&#8217;s book is &#8220;The Very Hungry Caterpillar&#8221;. I loved butterflies when I was younger. I even had a Monarch Butterfly Habitat that I was obsessed with, spurred on by this book.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong> What do you love most about Colorado?<\/strong>  I love that city life is just a hop, skip, or jump away from the mountains. It is nice to have the great outdoors and mountain activities so close to my house without having to live in the mountains full time.
