You will also be asked to consider several important ballot initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your ballot for\u00a0the upcoming General Election will be arriving in your mailbox in the coming weeks. Election day isn\u2019t until Tuesday, November 7<sup>th<\/sup>, but we are sharing information, so you have time to prepare to vote in this important election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-get-more-information\"><strong>Get More Information:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coloradosos.gov\/voter\/pages\/pub\/home.xhtml\">Here\u2019s where you can get the latest information about your voter eligibility and ballot drop off and polling locations.<\/a> It\u2019s not too late to register to vote or update your information if you\u2019ve moved.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Research What\u2019s on the Ballot:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You don\u2019t have your ballot yet, but you can still prepare! This website will provide you a <a href=\"https:\/\/ballotpedia.org\/Colorado_Sample_Ballot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sample ballot for your address.<\/a> \u00a0\u00a0There will likely be candidates running for your local school board. These people can have a deep and lasting impact on the schools in your community and your child\u2019s education, so make sure to do your research before you vote!<ul><li>Visit their websites, check out their social media, and Google their name to see recent news coverage.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pull information from organizations you trust to see who they have endorsed.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are also statewide ballot initiatives for you to consider this year.
