Eric Pettigrew 37th LD

ON EDUCATION

Co-sponsor of the bill to allow transformation zones and public charter schools in the 2012 legislative session, Pettigrew says that he feels strongly about education because of the pivotal role that strong teachers had in his youth. He's fought for low-income residents, and successfully secured $3.7 million as part of an anti-gang initiative that increases services for hundreds of at-risk youth.
