How do we end a year like no other?
In reality, although the circumstances we faced in 2021 have been unique, our focus is unchanged. At Stand for Children, we remain committed to ensuring every Washington student receives a high quality, relevant education, especially those whose boundless potential are overlooked and under-tapped because of their skin color, zip code, first language, or disability.
Students like Shiann, Giovanni, and Celina are amongst the 1.1 million students served by our public schools in Washington. Every day at Stand for Children, we're asking ourselves how we can best serve these young people. Whether it's through keeping track of which schools are implementing equitable dual credit policy, supporting educators with tools for ninth-grade success, or advocating to state legislators for school funding, the circumstances we face year to year don't deter us from our fight for equitable education and racial justice.
Your ongoing support is essential to achieving our goals. We are stronger, wiser, and better together. As we enter the final days of 2021, will you help us finish strong with a donation to support our ongoing work?
Thank you for standing with us as we stand together for Washington students. We all look forward to seeing what we achieve together in 2022.
From our families to yours,
