The Seattle Times says, “the Mercer Island Republican has been an effective leader since he was first elected to the Legislature in 2010.” We couldn’t agree more.
Steve has been an education leader in the state senate, advocating for a high-quality education system for all children. He has secured passage of new teacher evaluation standards, the Early Start Act to provide high-quality early learning opportunities, and historic investments in early learning, K-12 and higher education.
Steve has also been recognized for his work supporting children as a two-time “Champion for Children” from the Children’s Alliance. His work has made a tremendous difference for Washington’s children and our education system.
But he needs your support. First, you can help spread the word about Steve Litzow by sharing this blog post with friends and neighbors. Second, you can vote for Steve in the primary election by submitting your ballot by August 2.
