Parent Network

WHO WE ARE

The Stand for Children Texas Parent Network is a diverse group of parents and caregivers who have come together to support the success of their children through their education.

WHY WE STAND

Parents and caregivers in this network believe ALL children deserve an equal opportunity to succeed in life because they know education is the key that unlocks the door to success for their own children. Their goal is to make our schools the best environment possible for high-quality teachers and principals so that they can prepare all students, not only their own, for success in school and in life.

WHAT WE DO

The Texas Parent Network, much like the Community Network, works to make school districts the best environment possible for high-quality teachers and principals so they may effectively prepare our children for success. Parents do this by working to:

  • Partner with their child’s teachers to maximize opportunities;
  • Find, understand and obtain additional educational materials and resources for their child;
  • Recruit other parents to play active roles in their child’s education.
