Eleonore O'Donnell

She loves developing individualized plans for her students and finding ways to differentiate their learning in a variety of settings. Along with her role as a resource and inclusion teacher, Eleonore serves as the special education department chair and representative on the campus instructional leadership team. Eleonore graduated from Indiana University with a degree in International Studies, a certificate in liberal arts and management, and a French minor. While at IU, Eleonore was a Little 500 cyclist and active member of her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta. She was also honored to be the IU Resident Assistant of the Year in 2009. After graduating, Eleonore worked as a social services assistant for Great Onyx Job Corps. During her time there, she started an after school peer tutoring program and volunteered as a math teacher. Her experience with Job Corps inspired her to apply for Teach for America and she has been dedicated to eliminating educational inequality ever since. When she’s not at school, Eleonore enjoys riding her bike, singing with her church choir, and traveling.
