Dominique is a native of Memphis, Tennessee who gained the passion for education from her father, and the love of service from her mother. Dominique is an alumna of The University of Memphis where she earned a B.A. in Psychology and is currently pursing a M.S. in Project Management from Walden University.
Most recently, Dominique served as the Community Engagement and Social Media Manger at Literacy Mid-South. Prior to that, she dedicated 2 years of service in the AmeriCorps VISTA program, where she had the opportunity to establish an after school mentoring program for the Memphis Refugee Empowerment Program. From those opportunities Dominique was able to interact with various communities within Memphis, but more importantly, she was able to visually display their story and advocate for their educational wellbeing. Bringing awareness to the community has always been a passion of hers and she is dedicated to continuing that passion as the Memphis Communications and Community Engagement Manager with Stand.
Outside of the office, Dominique is doing the following things: shopping with her fiancé, playing videogames on Xbox, or hosting a community service event in the name of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.
