Reginald Milton, District 10

Reginald Milton was elected to the Shelby County Board of Commissioners in 2014 as the first representative of the newly formed District 10.

Commissioner Milton is a lifelong Memphian with a career in social service spanning over 20 years. He has worked for Memphis Planned Parenthood as the Director of Education and Training, City of Memphis as Neighborhood Specialist, and for the past 15 years has been the Executive Director of the South Memphis Alliance, which serve children in foster care and families in need.

Commissioner Milton has been an active member of several civic organizations, including: Community Development Council of Memphis, Memphis Heritage Association, Leadership Memphis 2009 Executive Class, and Literacy Mid-South. He is presently a board member for the State of Tennessee Department of Children’s Services.
