John Lovick for House of Representatives

Stand for Children Washington Political Action Committee (PAC) endorses Representative John Lovick for State Representative in District 44.


John is a lifelong public servant, having been elected a a state representative for the 44th District , as Snohomish County Sheriff, and as a councilman on the Mill Creek City Council. He volunteers in local public schools as a reader for children and coaches sports. He’ll bring a depth of experience and leadership that lends itself to political effectiveness in what is anticipated to be a tough legislative year. 

Lovick is committed to addressing basic education funding (McCleary) in 2017. His commitment to education is personal. Representative Lovick’s wife is a former teacher, his two daughtes-in-law and son-in-law are teachers.

His years of experience serving the public gives him the background required to be politically effective; his family experience gives him an understanding about how policy can impact education.
