The new school year is just a few short weeks away. And as students prepare for new experiences and learning opportunities, many teachers are preparing to better support them on their path to success.

Educators from several Portland-area high schools joined our partners at the Oregon Center for High School Success (CHSS) this morning for their latest training on 9th Grade Success dropout prevention policies.

9th Grade Success programs provide individualized, real-time support to help students get on-track to graduate from their very first class – and stay there – before they ever have the chance to falter.

We’re proud to offer these professional development opportunities to educators across Oregon free of charge, and we can’t do it without you.

Your contributions have helped CHSS grow from seven key partners in 2017, to now supporting more than 70 schools across Oregon this coming school year.
