In case you missed Portland City Club’s Friday Forum last week, Stand’s own Policy & Implementation Director, Parasa Chanramy, joined an incredible panel on how the Student Success Act came to be, and how we all have a role to play in maximizing its impact.

Parasa was an instrumental voice in the room when decisions were made to craft this historic education investment, and now she’s leading the charge to organize community groups around how best to spend the funds.

Parasa’s message was clear - we finally have the funding to do what our students need us to, and it's up to each and everyone one of us to make the most of it:

Get involved;
Reach out;
Show up;
Be the leader our students need you to be.

Can we count on you to get involved?
