Voters approve Portland and Bethel bond measures+Share
Oregon voters gave resounding support for critical bond measures in Portland and in Lane County.
These initiatives will fund brand new schools, critical repairs and important classroom upgrades that will support 21st century science instruction.
The Portland and Bethel Chapter members supported these measures with phone banks and canvassing. Bethel Stand leaders coordinated outreach to more than 7,000 people, no doubt helping Measure 20-209 gain the support of 72% of voters -- the largest margin in the district's history.
