All across Oregon, band saws are buzzing in wood shops. 3D printers are etching new widgets. Keyboards are clattering beneath student hands, and sparks are flying in welding classes.

All of this is thanks to the investment Measure 98 made in career-technical education across Oregon, and we want to celebrate three years of the Measure’s continued impact by featuring CTE projects at our upcoming Beat the Odds scholarship luncheon.

We have two ways to join in:

Contribute a CTE project for our silent auction!
We’re accepting CTE projects from across Oregon to be displayed at our Beat the Odds luncheon. All items will be available to bidders during a silent auction, and all proceeds will go to the school who submits them. Submissions are due to Stand no later than November 1st, and contributing schools must provide a valuation for the project, which will serve as the opening bid. Stand for Children will purchase any projects that don’t sell at auction at their valued price.

Create the centerpiece for our tables!
We know flowers are the norm, but we would rather feature you! We’re accepting submissions for CTE projects that will serve as the centerpiece on our tables, and will auction the centerpieces off to benefit the contributing school as well. Centerpieces must be approximately 18 inches tall and 8 inches wide, and are due in to Stand no later than November 1st.

If you are interested in contributing a project for the silent auction or a centerpiece, please email orinfo@stand.org and our team will contact you directly.

We can't wait to see the incredible projects your students are building!
