Christine has over 25 years of Human Resources experience serving in a multitude of industries. Most recently, she’s worked in the nonprofit and education sectors, but Stand gives her the privilege to combine both while experiencing the power of strategic advocacy work. Having a mother as an elementary school teacher helped her to see the importance of the teacher/student/parent relationship and she is proud of her family members who have chosen this noble profession. As Stand’s new National Director of Human Resources, she hopes to continue the strategies she established at OHSU Foundation to build and sustain a diverse, inclusive and welcoming organization where employees can continue to feel immense gratification for the work they do. Now that she is a tuition-free empty nester, she can fill her spare time with hiking, travel, and food exploration. While not a native Oregonian she delights in calling this state home after growing up on the east coast and finishing high school and later studies at UC Berkeley before settling here in 1995.
