Teachers & Principals, Who We Are | 03/02/2020

Brandi Watts
Educator Organizer, Home Visit Project

The Home Visit Project is immensely thankful for all the support you've shown our organization, and today we have exciting news to share — and a big favor to ask!

The Home Visit Project has been named a finalist for United Way of Metro Dallas' Social Innovator of the Year! We are one of five organizations competing to win $200,000. The winner will be decided by judges and an in-house audience at The Pitch on April 7, but there's also a people's choice award worth up to $25,000 that is decided solely by online votes the day of the big event.

Here's how you can help: Between now and April 7, every time you post on Twitter or Instagram using #InnovateUnited, United Way will add $5 to the people's choice prize money. You can also share this Facebook post to add another $5 to the pot. So log on now and start sharing!

Voting for the people's choice award won't start until the event on April 7, but by sharing the #InnovateUnited hashtag and Facebook post now, you can help us get the prize money up to $25,000.

We sincerely thank you for all the support you've shown the Home Visit Project. Your generosity and dedication are allowing more teachers to build relationships with families and lay trusting foundations that are helping students succeed.

Share what you love about the Home Visit Project now on Twitter and Instagram and don't forget to include #InnovateUnited! And stay tuned for instructions on how to vote for us for the people's choice award on April 7.
