Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
These frameworks set benchmarks for what Massachusetts’ students should know and be able to demonstrate in math and English language arts, to ensure that our students are college- and career-ready. The Curriculum Frameworks incorporates Common Core State Standards to develop a unique curriculum with the help of hundreds of teachers, education researchers, mathematicians, and other experts across the country to meet Massachusetts students’ needs.

MCAS: Mass Comprehensive Assessment System
The state test is being upgraded to the "Next Generation MCAS" and will be based on the Mass. Curriculum Frameworks and borrow questions from Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC).
