As the Policy and Government Affairs Manager, Brianna provides policy research, data analysis, and relevant updates on trends in policy news. Additionally, she works to develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners.
Brianna grew up attending public schools in Gloucester, Massachusetts, before receiving her bachelor’s degree in Global Studies from Providence College in Rhode Island. While in college Brianna volunteered with various organizations including Providence Public Schools, ¡CityArts!, and El Coco Loco Resort in Nicaragua. Serving as a program leader, community liaison, co-teacher, and tutor introduced Brianna to many ways to serve in education.
After graduation, Brianna moved to Boston where she worked for the Cambridge Institute of International Education where she designed education programs for international students. This passion for education led Brianna to think globally and act locally as she focused her efforts on issues in her backyard in Massachusetts.
Before her current role as Policy and Government Affairs Manager, Brianna served as State Operations Coordinator for two years. During this time, she supported her team in event management, administrative support, and other special projects.
Brianna recently served as a 2016-2017 fellow in the Institute for Educational Leadership’s Education Policy Fellowship Program sponsored in Massachusetts by The Rennie Center for Education Research & Policy. This program brings together influential educators around leadership, policy, and networking in Massachusetts and across the country.
In her free time, Brianna enjoys running, trying new recipes, and reading outside as much as the New England weather will allow.
