13 days ago, a disturbed teen used an assault rifle to kill fourteen students and three educators at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
Since then, valiant Stoneman Douglas students have pushed past the NRA’s normally effective “now isn’t the time to discuss policy proposals” talking points, forcing NRA-backed politicians to consider common sense solutions to prevent future massacres.
On March 24, students and all who stand with them will take to the streets to demand policymakers put an end to school shootings, which happen only in the United States.
I encourage all Stand for Children supporters to join the March for Our Lives in Washington D.C. or march in your own community.

Self-serving politicians have let carnage become commonplace at schools. Stoneman Douglas students are rightly demanding “never again.” This is a moment when no one who stands for children can stay on the sidelines.
Will you stand with the Stoneman Douglas students and demand policymakers pass common-sense gun safety measures that an overwhelming majority of Americans support? If so, please tell us you’re in.
The time is now to insist policymakers prioritize the lives and safety of students above all else.
Thank you, more than ever, for standing for children.
