I'm excited to combine my diverse communications experiences with my education background to promote Stand's work.

Late last week Governor Baker vetoed two key pieces of the legislature's proposed FY16 state budget. These cuts will have a significant impact on the quality of early education that our students so desperately need.

We need your help. Please take one minute and CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATORS to urge them to restore $17,589,713 to protect critical kindergarten expansion funding and $500,000 for preschool partnerships.

Early education is critical and can have a tremendous impact on school readiness and children’s future academic and economic success. Investing in early education produces wide-ranging benefits for children, families, schools, and society at large.

Please let your elected officials know that now is the time to invest in high-quality early education, not the time to make cuts.
