Mallory Wall

Campaign Director

Mallory Wall is a fourth-generation educator.  As a young girl, Mallory always wanted to be a teacher; she played "school" with her mother's discarded lesson books and teaching supplies.  Mallory spent nine years in public education as a middle and high school teacher, working in one of the most under-resourced schools in the district. It was at this school that she discovered a new passion: being an advocate for Louisiana's most precious resource, its children.  As an Educator All Star, Mallory  leveraged relationships with key legislators and policy makers to elevate her own educator voice as well the voices of her colleagues. She has published opinion pieces, endorsed and campaigned for highly qualified political candidates, and granted interviews to various media outlets, all in an effort to secure access to a high quality education for all of Louisiana's students. Mallory holds a deep and unwavering belief that all students, regardless of zip code or circumstance, deserve a first-class education and the opportunity to succeed. She has served as a Teacher Leader Advisor for the Louisiana Department of Education and worked on numerous curriculum and policy panels.

Mallory earned both a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication and a Master of Arts in Teaching from McNeese State University. During her undergraduate studies, Mallory served as the Student Government President and as a member of the University of Louisiana  System Board of Supervisors and the Louisiana Tuition Trust Authority. As SGA president, Mallory organized a state-wide alternative spring break program, providing the opportunity for college students to participate in rebuilding hurricane-ravaged areas of Louisiana. She is an active member of the Junior League of Lake Charles, Inc., serving four terms on the executive board. She lives in Lake Charles with her two sons, Ethan and Cooper. In her free time, Mallory is an avid runner, a quintessential southern hostess and cook, and a devoted Mardi Gras reveler.
