The upcoming legislative session promises to be particularly important for altering the educational landscape. Governor Jindal has laid out an agenda targeting improvements in early childhood education, teacher effectiveness and school choice.
Many of these proposed reforms have stirred controversy and spurred discussion around the state. With so many changes underway, Stand for Children believes that it is critically important to involve the very people who are most affected by these reforms – students, parents, and teachers.
