As we begin picking up the pieces after the storm, I hope you and your family are safe and well. Our community has endured so much throughout this crushing pandemic and now the destruction left by Hurricane Ida — we’ve been tested time and time again. But, in these difficult times, it becomes clearer than ever that we are strongest when standing together.
Some of us are facing a great deal of uncertainty and that will be true for days, weeks, and months ahead as we wait for power to turn back on, water to be drinkable, roads to be safe enough to travel on, and our homes ready to welcome us back. Throughout all of this, please know that we are always proud to stand with you, and we are here to support you in any way we can.
We are currently assessing the needs of our members and state. When we identify a way in which we can provide effective and needed support, we will provide details.
Nothing about our current reality is easy. But, as always, we’re in this together, and as a community, there is nothing we can’t overcome.
