Jol Johnson
Student Member and Volunteer

I am a dedicated Stand for Children Louisiana student member and volunteer. I first became interested in Stand for Children through my basketball coach, Mr. Eric Brown. I attend Istrouma Magnet High School in the 70805 district. I love to see our community thrive. I am a junior, magnet ambassador, the Junior Class President, captain on my basketball team, and a key club member. I take honors courses and am enrolled in college courses at CTEC at BRCC. I take pride in everything I do and believe in.

Stand for Children allows me to visit schools around East Baton Rouge, lend my voice on things that matter to students like me, and get the word out about the many serious education issues. Stand for Children fights hard for our kids. Will you consider a gift to Stand so they can continue this fight with and for students like me?

Mr. Eric Brown has pushed me to go harder and fight for what I believe. Working together, we – as one – can do so much more for students.

We got this! As a Stand for Children volunteer, I am thankful to get to voice my opinion and be a young adult activist in a step to greatness. Your donation allows us to do great things in this community every single day.
