STOP HB160 so Our Kids Don’t Have to Wait for Great Teachers
Jason wants to be an astronaut when he grows up. But with 77% of students unable to read at grade level in the 4th grade and 79% unable by the 8th grade, it's clear that he – and other students in Louisiana – aren’t getting what they need to achieve their biggest dreams and beyond.
We think our students deserve more! That’s why we need you to take action and send a clear message to our elected leaders that you don't want a pause button on your child’s dreams.
Sign this petition to STOP HB160 and let them know our students can’t wait any longer.

Get Highly Effective Teachers in Low Performing Schools
The education of every student in East Baton Rouge Parish is being put in danger because of recent actions by the school board and district staff that would move high performing students to low performing schools, for the benefit of the schools, not the students. Stand parents have a different idea: give incentives to highly effective teachers and leaders to serve in low performing schools.
