Kelli Butler, House District 28
Born and raised in Arizona, Rep. Kelli Butler has been active in the education issues of her community. As an active PTA member and past president, she is very knowledgeable on the challenges facing our public schools. As longtime parent activist, Mesa School Board member, educator, and state representative, Kelli Butler has been dedicated to improving Arizona’s public schools. As a small business owner, she is also aware of the relationship between quality education and economic development. Rep. Butler is committed to improving public education and providing economic opportunities for all Arizonans. Her priorities include increasing education funding, addressing the teacher workforce crisis, and expanding access to early-childhood education to improve literacy, post-secondary education, and job training programs. Kelli Butler uses her time at the legislature to focus on legislation designed to support student academic achievement and increase funding and accountability. Her priorities include: ensuring Arizona students graduate high school prepared to be successful in college or the workforce, expanding CTE opportunities and parent engagement. Additionally, she strongly supports providing flexibility for ELL instructional programs.
