Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is starting the search for its next CEO, and they want parents and community members to play a role in this search. It’s important to have a variety of stakeholders involved in the process.
To that end, the district is inviting over 300 school community members to participate in small focus groups. The goal of those groups is to gather feedback about the qualities that folks want to see in a new CPS CEO.
As a Chicago parent, it’s important to me that this search is transparent and inclusive of the CPS community. Be sure to complete and submit this CPS form to indicate your interest in participating in this process. They will then ensure focus groups representing all members of the school system can be formed.

I hope you’ll join me and indicate your interest in participating today.
