It’s that time of year again. New backpacks, new outfits, new classrooms, new experiences. It’s back to school time!
My daughter starts her new school year next week, this time in a new school. I know many students across the State are already back in the classroom, many with the same feelings of expectation and excitement that Savannah has.
These days are exciting, and my hopes, goals, and dreams for Savannah are the same as every new school year: that she has a safe and powerful year of learning, growth, and transformation ahead of her.
What are your hopes and dreams for your children? Share yours, and over the next few weeks we will share some in a new blog post so that other Illinois families can read about aspirations and inspirations for Illinois students.
I have goals for Savannah and goals for myself this school year: not only to grow as a professional and work with new families, but to finish strong in my final year of college. We all have hopes and dreams to guide us, so share yours today.
Here’s to a new school year filled with limitless potential and unbridled optimism.
