The Whole Truth and Nothing But the Truth

Like most people, I want the truth -- especially when it comes to my son's education.

And just like they say in TV courtrooms (and in the real-world, I suppose), I want the whole truth and nothing but the truth. No one should be tipping the scales or sugar-coating it for me or any other parent.

That’s one of the reasons I’m actually looking forward to seeing the results from Illinois’ new, high-quality student assessment, PARCC. We’ll know for the first time how kids are really doing in school.

Check out Stand’s new Illinois PARCC Explainer page to learn more about the ins and outs of your child’s individual PARCC report.

Failing to prepare is simply preparing to fail. So let’s prepare to succeed by getting the honest truth about where our kids are academically.

Visit Stand's Illinois PARCC Explainer page to learn more about the coming PARCC report, and when your child's report arrives, use that information to work with their teacher to ensure your child is academically on track.

Because while tests tell the truth, they don’t tell the whole story, and it's up to us to make sure our kids get the education they need and deserve.
