Emma Wells

Policy Fellow

Emma Wells is a high school senior who, thanks to dual credit, will graduate high school with three associate degrees, all with honors. In addition to schoolwork, she is involved in a variety of other activities. Emma is the president of her school's Beta Club (through which she has completed over 100 hours of community service), the secretary of her senior class, a selected member of State Senator Dale Fowler's Youth Advisory Committee, the president of her county’s youth advisory committee, and an Illinois State Scholar. She also plays French horn in the Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra, participates in the Southern Illinois Pre-College Preparatory Program, and is involved in community theater. Emma is a member her school’s marching and concert band, pep club, and Phi Theta Kappa. After high school, Emma plans to attend a university to dual major in music performance and an undecided branch of communications or business to work in the entertainment management field.
