EBR District 4 - Chrisdelin Kelly Lyles
As a public school educator for over 15 years and mother of five children, Chrisdelin ‘Kelly’ Lyles is committed to taking an active role in improving educational outcomes for every child in East Baton Rouge Parish. Ms. Lyles has spent a large portion of her career as an educator working in schools like Parkview Elementary, Park Elementary and Scotlandville Elementary..

As a strong supporter of both accountability for schools and the Superintendent, as well as quality educational opportunities for all students, Ms. Lyles expressed her strong desire to prioritize funding for those key areas that help predict a student’s future academic success such as reading on grade level by third grade and Mastery of Algebra I skills by the end of 9th grade.
Ms. Lyles also expressed her commitment to parent and educator members of the endorsement committee to be present in the community and in schools in order to breed trust with her constituents and to be able to put a face to every policy decision she would make if elected.
