“During my tenure at the state Capitol, I had the chance to work with Stand for Children Colorado on important issues like early childhood literacy, 9th grade student success, and teacher diversity. I have long admired their steadfast courage and determination for tackling tough issues that our Colorado students face from school funding equity to reading proficiency to social justice. Now, I am so honored and excited to bring my unique experience of teaching, state policy, and campaigns as the government affairs director,” Buentello said.
