Policymakers are convening at the Capitol this week in a special legislative session to address pressing needs created by the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the areas leaders are working on is increasing access to broadband for our students.

For many Colorado students their school buildings have closed again and learning has moved online to slow the spread of COVID-19. This is a major problem for students who lack internet access at home.

A bipartisan bill -HB20B-1001- is under consideration and would provide critical funding to broadband service and other technology for students and educators.

Tell policymakers that families are counting on them to invest in broadband connectivity, and vote yes on HB20B-1001 so learning can continue at home.

We know these times are incredibly challenging. Raise your voice to tell our leaders  you want to ensure that students can access their classes when learning is remote.
